Valerie's Bookend

Welcome to my humble abode

The table only has three chairs, one at the head of each end of the table, and one facing away from the wall, towards you. The walls are dusty and sunfaded, except for three rectangles that stand out. Something was hanging here recently, and has only been taken down and moved.The vertical blinds are completely shut, letting almost no light in. The light that is in the house is stagnant and brittle.

To your left is the living room, to your right is the deck, and behind you is the kitchen.

I'm looking for Valerie. He's moved out long ago, but he left etchings on the walls.
